Jaycee Lee Dugard was born on May 3, 1980. She was kidnapped at 11 years old on June 10, 1991, when she was walking up to a bus stop. Philip Garrido and Nancy Garrido tazed her and then pulled her into their van with a blanket over her head. For 18 years, she was locked in a room with no sunlight or contact with anything outside, except for a few times. At the age of 14, she had her first daughter, fathered by Philip. Then at age 17, she had her second daughter, also fathered by Philip. In August of 2009, Philip took Jaycee and her two daughters to a University to pass out fliers for his church. A few years after her second daughter, Philip and the three girls got to go out and help pass out fliers for a church. a few days later, Philip and Nancy were arrested and the girls got to go back home. Jaycee was 20 years old and her two daughters were 15 and 11 when they were free.
